For the longest time, I thought my educational path was random and didn’t make sense.  I now realize that my undergraduate studies in biology and my graduate studies in psychology, commercial music, and vocal performance, were all essential for the development of my holistic vocal teaching and vocal coaching method.  Singing is different from any other instrument, because we are the instrument and it is impacted by every part of our existence.

As much as I love singing and as much as I love leading worship, nowhere do I find more purpose and passion than I do while teaching. I should mention that teaching is also a big part of worship leading.  I treat each teaching experience as an unique opportunity to take an individual, his/her/their instrument and align them with his/her/their purpose and his/her/their passion. 

If I were to identify an area of speciality as a teacher, it would be with equipping worship leaders, worship team members, and other Christian music and church singers.  It is like wrapping up all of my favorite things in one, and I have worked arduously to identify, codify, and develop a method to fully prepare and equip singers and worship leaders to be effective and dynamic in their ministries.
